Attend Louisburg’s annual Freedom Fest and meet the wonderful volunteers from Olives Hope Pet Rescue. They will be coordinating the Kiss My (Ugly) Dog contest. Several local officials have agreed to participate in the event and the one that receives the most votes will have to kiss their namesake - Ms. Olive. Members of the public can purchase a vote and all proceeds will go toward rescuing and rehoming pets in the Miami County Kansas area.
